xenの仮想サーバで現在時刻がずれる

CentOS release 5.6 (Final)

/etc/ntp.conf

restrict xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx mask 255.255.255.255 nomodify notrap noquery

xen.independent_wallclock=1

なサーバだったが、
/var/log/messagesの

Jan 10 10:20:11 myhostname kernel: netfront: device eth0 has copying receive path.

をきっかけに時刻がずれる。しばらくすると、

Jan 10 11:17:22 myhostname ntpd[1514]: time reset +0.750403 s
Jan 10 11:21:16 myhostname ntpd[1514]: synchronized to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx , stratum 2

と再同期がはじまる。
原因不明。だが予測として、長時間のuptimeでdevice eth0 has copying receive path.になり、そのタイミングで/proc/sys/xen/independent_wallclockが0になっていたりして？？？と思ったり。

apcが別phpスクリプトをキャッシュしてしまう。

こちらも原因不明。
https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=57708と同様の現象。。。
